I am a midnight child. On the midnight of the 13th August turning into the 14th in 1947, as we enter the hour past midnight into the day of Independence, we bow our heads in respect to all those that gave us our symbol of recognition, the Pakistani Bi-color flag, that gave us the pride we now ride on as being Pakistanis, that gave us a respectability of independent thought and deed, that gave us that much desired human facet - identity !

We are in remembrance and in compassionate homage to them ! Salute!
The pride in belonging to a nation, to be able to gain identity in that, would be the most desirous accomplishment for any. Those that disrespect or act against such identity are traitors of the most evil kind. The earth of the Motherland is the purest possession. I abhor the reference to us as the Third World, or even a Developing Nation. I want my country to be the First World and Developed, and anything that needs to be done to gain that, shall be voluntarily available from me.
