Modern World!

Nature plays a very important role in our lives. But we don’t value it importance till is too late, like an old say “you don’t know what you have till you lose it”. Where are becoming so much depended on our human made environment that we don’t appreciate what Allah has given us. The so called modern society is making the entire world slaves of their own creations. This culture of new technology and media world is catching up with our future generations and making them kind of useless creatures because at the end believe it or not we all are at the mercy of Allah’s creation. I assure anyone that raise up the question of who is well prepare for a future life a child from a third world country or a child from a develop country? Without doubt a child from let’s say USA has the knowledge and information in vast proportion but he/she doesn’t know how to use that information, on the contrary a children from let’s say Cuba certainly will have the way of using that information very well.

To make my point clear I would point out a very colourful and descriptive example: what do you reckon the children from Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Syria, Lebanon, Cuba, North Korea, Nigeria, Bangladesh, and many more... have in common? Yes they don’t have the facility, technology, information, and services provided by their government like USA, UK, France, India, Germany, and many more...have so generously given to their children.

I think it is so unfair to see in some countries children are dying of starvation, while in some food is wasted unconsciously.

Our culture and values are gone to the drain. Replaced by some cheap soup opera (novel, TV serial) created family. A decade back one sat on the dining table while eating everybody use to share their days activities, now if one have to talk to even the wife/husband one have sms or call to make an appointment. Nowadays a child is not interested in a book; instead he is keener to learn the way how to operate an IPhone. Everything is becoming so easy; to do anything you just have to push buttons technology does the rest. Are we becoming so use to these new inventions that we are forgetting the utilization of our own body parts? Did Mr. Jobs made us a favour or he created the beginning of a modern society who is slaves of its own innovative systems? I remember looking an advertisement where a modern society is shown completely dependent on modern technology where everything even the most insignificant necessity were done by a machines there was the need of pressing a button only,  but the human behind all immense development was very obese, sad and lonely. UK figures on obesity are alarming according to the NHS, due to lack of outdoor activities.

I won’t say that development is the bad guy in the narration, but i will make it very clear that we create this perfect world for the sake of a good and pleasant life for us forgetting that this modernism have to come hand in hand with the education to our children telling them that this is not what life is about. Life is about living without the need of a machine.

Give time to your children they will learn to give it back to you.

Love and affection...

DiL
