Sunset!

The sun sets over the grass in my garden in the city of London, through the glass that lies on an evening dining table.

Glass is a transparent reflection of our lives. The power and presence of the sun is divine. That it sets, bringing darkness is inevitable. It does that each day. It brings, it illuminates and vanishes - for some ! What we miss, others receive. It is then an eternal being that never diminishes. The divine is eternal. How we perceive or view it is through transparency. We could be transparent, in our life - an object which can be seen through. Not so the sun - it is there always, in same shape and size and intensity.

At some stage our lives shall succumb to the perfection of the permanent. That is how it has been ordained. We know this just as we are created. We are created with the knowledge that we shall perish. Not so the divine. Which is why we offer prayer and obeisance to divinity - that which we know is eternal.

We can ask for longevity, riddance of trouble, benefits in health, solution in problem. But whether we shall receive an answer that is favourable it is unknown, till it happens or does not happen.

We wish that it may happen … and may it happen all the time … our faults lie in facts, that we ask when needed, not because we need to ask always ..

It is needed now .. and so we ask ..

Prayer never did hurt any … prayer is universal …

Love to all..
