Comes from my heart!

There are moments in the lives of ours when nostalgic informations creeps out from the insides, to give facts, give reason for it, and to share what one would never have in the days and years of your life.

Perhaps there are certain aspects of our lives which one would never ever share with anyone. You carry them to your grave. But as time goes by, there is an instinct to give it voice, if not to all but to those that matter in your legacy of birth. Many would value such deed as being a compulsion, perhaps a necessity. It is not as though one is passing on how an empire being left behind needs to be successfully run. It is more about, if I do not tell now, when and to whom ? But … do we really honestly share all that we go through - the pain the anxiety and the suffering. Many a times it has been advisable not to indulge in such antics. It would be looked upon as a burden to the other. It may not, conversely, be of similar value and intent than what it meant to you. It is a strange world. Not many would want to feel the injury or insult, if ever there was one, to the same extent as the one that came along with it in its originality. Not understanding the gravity of the situation and its court, could be as grievous, if not more, than the nature of the nostalgia. It would be hurtful if such was the case. So care and consideration would need to be exercised before the indulgence. At times it would be better to keep the matter to oneself. At least one is ensured of its worth, irrespective of how much it may be …

It is a complex situation when the other is unable to grasp the motive or the intensity of the issue. But I think it seldom does, to be quite honest about it. What I may feel or react to could be entirely different to them that get to bear the burden of its sharing. So it may be best to leave it to its existence and its own limited life.

Not so I find in what I may share with my most dedicated and affectionate friends and one and only admirable reader “Abbu Nasar”. There has been overwhelming response to what I have considered to be a moment that needed to be shared.

Today in our lives there are not just the personal sharings that one can talk about, keep it to ourselves and be assured of its confidentiality. Today there is a certain freedom that coerces one to come out in the open and speak out as it were on issues, events, happenings, the lot. I often wonder why and do not have a simple answer to this. But I do believe that the element of secrecy or its confidentiality has taken a rough beating.

I am unable to explain why or how it happened. A medium which is a fun event that allows and gives me the privilege of speaking my mind out, or staying updated with the more technologically freshed invention merely to be able to socially not be left behind.

‘Socially left behind’ … !! This is a misnomer, but one that has crept into our thinking without a thought. Greed, competition, ego and selfishness have all formed ingredients that contribute to all that transpires when one gets socially left behind. The neighbors car, his wife’s jewelry and material possessions, their house … and on …. find place in what I may describe as being left behind ! No one loves it or even wants to consider the implications of its wont, but the desire of what the other has is lesser in content or value than mine, finds a few inches added to the chest, and subsequently a few to the head as well ..

The idea of being eternally superior to the other has reigned supreme from time immemorial and much of what life has designed today for us is governed by such obtuse and unwanted remark.

From the personal it translates to the general, to the neighbors to the community, to the region and finally the entire world is gasping with its tongue hanging out beyond control - to possess that which the other does not have, or if it does, then that it remains lesser than mine. Herein starts the building of that which eventually leads to its destruction and its ruination. The sufferers are those that get inflicted by this ritual, the beneficiaries are they that stand and rekindle these sentiments so that there can be material gain … !!

Surprised at this assumption ?? No … it is indeed correct ! The entire policy and philosophy of the capitalistic universe depends and hopes on this. Competition of, mine is bigger, larger, more expensive than yours, gives the material world and those that patronize it for commercial gain, the required boost it needs to flourish. Your car bigger than mine … ok  car manufacturer, build me one that beats competition … and lo and behold an entire industry is born … and begins to incite the vulnerable for its material gain …

My gain … my personal gain in this entire exercise is … at least on reader, (Abbu Nasar) ! The reach to at least one as I can is prime.

The comments and praise of my reader (Abbu Nasar) is my ‘materialistic’ gain. You are who  that create, symbolise and extend that aspect of my ‘inspiration’ that I can never put value to. Your pricelessness is my worth. Its presence and its respect is for me ‘socially not being left behind’ …

When they shall flaunt their nett worth, their RollsRoyces and their diamonds, I shall with pride, direct them to my blog !!

To my pride, my love and my greatest admiration …

Love to all...

DiL
