Life and Death!

Today I got the scared of a lifetime when I heard the screams of Dad on the background when talking to Fiza and Khala Kokab over the phone. Man it was a moment in which I felt so helpless, I wanted to be there to take Dad to the nearest hospital. Thanks to everybody who helped bringing you back to normal, specially my gratitude goes to Naeem who came and checked your sugar level face with the fact that was low he did diagnose the problem very well and gave you the Glucose injection straight away. You know if you are doing this amount of work it needed to take at least the amount of proteins and carbohydrates necessary to recover all the energy that has been used. Dad you should eat according the work you do during the day. These kinds of attacks are not at all good. Please take care of yourselves for us. May Allah and Panj Tak Pak keep you out of any arms way.

Life is a very beautiful thing. Given by the almighty with what purpose it will always remain an enigma! But what can we do is at least thank him for this priceless opportunity he has gifted us. On the contrary people are dying around the world killed by capital punishment, war, criminal and police shouts, there are countless reasons of death and most of them are produce by our own human race, disrespecting Allah’s wishes. We feel happy when somebody else has being bereaved from life. Where is the difference from bad guys and good ones? It was put very eloquently by a very prominent writer in Venezuela, Arturo Uslar Pietri; “ ...a state that cannot provide security of life to their people, have no rights to take the life of others...” It is very easy to hang a Kasab and feel happy for his death but it would be easier to have prevented the killing of so many people in the 26/11 massacre on the first place.

I would like to go back in history and remind everyone Iman Hussain (a.s.) martyrdom which didn’t stay back in history. It has been carried forward and it shall be always remember as a noble man stands on the truth against the tyranny of evil. It was very easy for Iman Hussain (a.s.) to send a message to Kufa saying that I cannot help you because Yazid has power and he can do anything. Instead he went there to help restore a just law forgotten by many Kufians. anybody can go with the flow, It is prosperous who fights and swims against the tide. There are so many examples that comes to our mind when we see people standing against a system and restoring justice and fairness by winning the battle against evil, e.g. Simon Bolivar liberator of 5 nations in South America, Ghandhi who fought without guns to liberate India from the British Empire following the same principle of Iman Hussain (a.s.) fight without hitting your love one, Martin Luther King fought for the equal rights of color people in America, Nelson Mandela for the abolition of slavery in South Africa, and many more...

I don’t think people who went to fight the war in Iraq or Afghanistan know who they are fighting against or for what. Like the war in Vietman. The war has become a corporate profit and loss issue for some people to benefit from it. The rest is very clear to everyone; the problem is there is no one who can stand against it. That is way judgement day is not very far away because life has no value for us humans. We take the killing of millions of people has a news until one of us is caught up in this vicious game of death.

Abbu life without you or Mom is going to be meaningless. Please take care of yourselves a little bit more than usual. Don’t let the bloody sugar get down or up, keep it under your control as you have being doing for so long. I know you can do it.... and you will do it. Love you.
